Day 1 of the annual meeting 2024 of our Water Sommelier Union!

The first place we went to at our annual meeting was Ensinger Mineral-Heilquellen GmbH in Vaihingen an der Enz.
The fresh natural mineral water bottled here, ‘Ensinger Sport’, comes from the gypsum-keuper area of the Ensinger valley basin and is pumped from depths of between 45 and 100 metres. On its decades-long journey through the rock, the water absorbs numerous natural minerals, including calcium, magnesium and sulphate. This makes it one of the most calcium- and magnesium-rich mineral waters in Germany. In addition to this perfect sports water, other mineral waters are bottled here, including ‘Ensinger NaturQuell’ and ‘Ensinger Gourmet Organic Mineral Water’. The curative water ‘Ensinger Schiller Quelle’ is also bottled here.
During the tasting of the company’s various mineral water brands and other mineral waters, the participants were able to demonstrate their sensory abilities, and the tour of the plant also offered interesting insights and exceeded the expectations of all participants.
